International Country Music Star Jolie Holliday was born in Dallas, Texas in 1981. As a little girl, she was mesmerized by her mother, who was an avid singer/songwriter, and her love of music. By the time Jolie was five, she had learned to sing. While she insists her vocals at that tender age left a bit to be desired, little did she know she was laying the foundation for far greater performances to come. Much of her childhood was spent with her grandfather on his ranch, “The Bar T”, in Karnack, Texas. She would learn valuable lessons while whiling away the summer days with him, perhaps most importantly, that believing in herself, being responsible and determined and having faith were the keys to a successful life. She relished the country life and the day-to-day business of working on the farm and helping with the trophy business he operated. Her love of country music was further nourished as they listened to classic country greats like Tammy Wynette, Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, Dolly Parton and others! By the time Jolie was fourteen, she was performing at venues and events around the country and continues to do so to this day!

All these years later, Jolie has managed to stay true to her roots. This fact is evident in her new album “Lucky Enough” which hit stores in August 2009. The album features a medley of up tempo dance tunes like “I Don’t Need Champagne” and “Driving to Hollywood” along with the soulful country ballads Jolie is famous for like “What We Gonna Do About It,” “Better Off,” and “I’ll Try Anything” which show off her amazing range as a vocalist. Jolie’s new album is the follow up to her tremendously successful debut “A Real Good Day” which garnered the Dallas native a number of awards and propelled her to the height of international superstardom with it entering the European charts at #1!  She also received the Young Talent of the Year award at the German CMA Awards as well as Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year at the CMA Indie Awards.

Jolie continues to treat fans to her amazing live performances!  With hand clapping, foot stomping, get-up-out-of-your-seat and dance shows that include a medley of her own hits, as well as timeless country favorites, Jolie’s electrifying concerts remain a top priority for this truly gifted performer.  Jolie can also be seen in concert regularly at Chevrolet and NASCAR sponsored events such as the State Fair of Texas, Daytona 500, Brickyard 400, Allstate 400 and Indianapolis 500.

Jolie currently lives in Richardson, Texas. She is a 1999 honor graduate of L.V. Berkner High School where she played softball, basketball and volleyball and was the school’s Homecoming Queen her senior year. Jolie also trained in jazz, tap and modern dance and studied music with iconic vocal coach Linda Septien. She feels blessed to have grown up around so many talented musicians who were instrumental in helping to shape her into the artist she is today. Giving back to the community is also a vital part of Jolie’s life. She can often be found performing at nursing homes and for charitable organizations such as Wednesday’s Child, Rise and Shine and the Special Olympics. When she’s not performing or recording she enjoys working out, horseback riding, boating and fishing, college football and spending time with family and friends!
